Any AMZN shorters left? Time to wake up, you AMZN and other internet stock shorters!

For much of the past three years, many so called Wall Street experts often seemed to have the least foresight about the Web's prospects. They called Internet stock investing a fad. Then they called it a bubble. As vast fortunes have been made, mainstream journalists -- their livelihoods threatened -- picked up the cue and placed the Web's importance somewhere between CB radio, Dutch tulips and a "new paradigm."

It's hard to know how to value companies in this new industry because many are not yet profitable. But for now, just realize that in the New Paradigm, earnings don't matter. It's true, at least for now. What matters is brand development, revenue growth, customer service and gross margin expansion. With those concepts in mind, AMZN is clearly a leader.

I can't help laughing whenever I hear people talking about internet stock value, especially some old men on CNBC. I feel sorry for them. They belongs to yesterday and they are history.
