Teflon, I remember your posts. But it seems there must be more to this.
I mean, what *reason* does anyone have for buying this stock in the short term? It doesn't seem like there is any major development ahead that would get the market excited. In other words, everything we know has already been priced into the stock. So why should it go up? Short term, that is.
The only explanation would be that something is cooking - people don't just bid up a stock once all the news is out. Speculative money has a lot more targets out there, other than MSFT. And all those who wanted to own MSFT, seems already have had their chance. So who is buying, and why?
Unless this is some general optimism about the market and techs - ie the rotation is coming back into techs with all the good earnings from IBM showing the fundamental health of this sector, and the prospects for further growth...
Still, I simply do not see MSFT breaking 95 over the short term, and I'm skeptical it can break 90. But given how this last move has surprised me, maybe it will continue to surprise me.
Again, I'm happy it's climbing. Just puzzled, that's all. I'll give you credit for calling this rise - though I'm not sure about the reasons you gave...
Good luck to all MSFT holders!
