I read your "Titanic" post, and appreciated it. However, the gist of your early remark was taken (by me) as meaning, "no one at CPQ thinks Linux will go anywhere, and we're willing to be last if a weak market does develop." Note that there is a perponderance of evidence that DEC aquisition is not being actualized (what ever that means...)

It may be perception only, but when the bottom line earnings actually drop, there is cause to wonder.

I read with amazement Gary Kildall's statement that "no one needs graphics on a small computer." Linus is not Gary, and a lot of people are sweating blood to support him.
