A must read for all Canadians. Here's the Welcome to the Nasdaq handbook folks. Read everything in it carefully, it will save you oodles of dollars.

The Nasdaq doesn't work like a proper computerized trading system. The Nasdaq has it's own rules. The rules are there are no rules and it's every man for himself. Except there are too many men in the transaction which makes investing all the more difficult. There's the buyers, the sellers, the shorts and the blank holes.

Now I know when they ask Peter Lynch which direction the market is going he says, "I don't know, I really don't know". LOL

Here's some links to good articles about market manipulation, shorts using message boards, etc, etc. I know you're used to just investing in good companies, but here the game is completely different.
