FWIW, I am a rare day trader. If I do trade, I will do a positional trade which could last a few weeks or a few months.

I would recommend a book on Ponzi. The bulletin board stock promoters found on SI have probably studied Ponzi very closely. The analogy there is amazing. I am surprised I have not seen an article comparing the two. Ponzi would be right at home here on the internet.
