CD auctions .. I like it .. But isn't it a little counter-intuitive ??? What depositor would "bid" a lower rate on a CD than the one the bank is offering ??? I would assume that everyone would just take the rate offered .. Just a thought .. but good marketing on USAB's part .. now if they were auctioning Tax-lien certificates on the web-site .. Wonder if anyone at the company has thought to follow this thread ?? We could be a good source of feedback to 'our' company as we progress .. Jim in CT ..
