Sly, it happens sometimes that trades go off below the bid or above the ask. remember that yesterday the last trade was at 26 with the ask at 25 7/8. as it happened both times at the end of trading, i'm assuming that the bid/ask was adjusted right after the last trade and no further trade was executed after the new spread was posted. i regard it as a slight positive for monday's opening as it indicates there was demand at the close at 23. if this happens during the trading day, you have to watch whether big blocks are going above the ask or below the bid, as the former indicates accumulation and the latter distribution.
