IBM to buy 3Com or Bay Networks? Someone mentioned in the CSCO thread the possibility of a takeover here. How long has this "rumor" been circulating and what is the probability of it actually happening? The announcement of the alliance alone should push COMS over $50 on Monday. If takeover rumors by IBM re-surface next week, COMS will shoot up another $5 to $10. BAY is choking again for some reason. CSCO tapering slightly, but I expect it to continue its upward trend albeit at a slower pace. Tony.
