David,

When companies take large hits on their stocks these law firms do not wait for someone to start a campaign for class action suits. Rather, they are constantly on the prowl and when they detect a "hot one" they quickly write up a press release announcing they are available to handle the cases. Of course instead of being unbiased they paint the company black so it's easier to recruit plaintiffs. It is big competition between law firms so don't be surprised to see an increase in these in the future.

I personally believe that they do more damage to a company than good, and when confronted they just come back with the run about free speech, press, and the right to make a living over the internet just like anyone else.

I am neither long or short in the stock.

Chris
