MU,

have been trying to see where QCOM fits as a gorilla. I think what makes this analysis difficult, are all the variables with the wireless market.

Understandable.

One of the issues I find confusing is when Qualcomm is heralded at the gorilla of the wireless market. To be more specific, I think it's the gorilla of the CDMA market, currently a niche in the wireless market.

Do I think CDMA will is the discontinuous innovation that will ultimately signifcantly displace GMS and TDMA? Yep.

If you don't think that will happen, you probably won't be as enamored with QUalcomm's potential as many of us are. In that event, you'll need to evaluate the potential of this gorilla of a niche market that might forever stay a niche market.

Hope this helps.
