Generally agreed. But on the Fiorina point, while intense, smart,
I view her through admittedly somewhat unrosy glasses
of having been cast off into the Lucent-Philips cellphone joint venture, which came out of Lucent's former Consumer Products unit,
and then later terminated when the venture couldn't make it.
Not such a happy experience when you are on the receiving end
of hard business decisions, even though it was,
from a business perspective, the correct one.
Didn't someone say that there was a reputation
for being a hatchet-woman?
Ahhh, that felt good [controlled venting].
