Low Risk Internet Investing

I've been trading Internet LEAPS, and have increased earnings by more than 240% in a total of 78 days. Here's the strategy, and there's plenty of other great free info on my site.

Quite obviously there is a lot of opportunity in the Internet sector. At the same time, there is also a lot of risk. My strategy with The Trader's Corner portfolio is to take advantage of the opportunities available, while avoiding as much risk as possible. Easier said then done, right? Not if you look closely at the opportunities with the right companies, and invest wisely.

The way I am doing this with tremendous results, are with LEAPS. When I purchase a LEAP, I get an exercise date exceeding one year from purchase. Let's take ???, for example. Since I believe the company will be up by 50% over the next year, I can obtain an option that will increase by more than 100%. As you'll see from my actual transactions, I have made more than 100% each time I traded ??? in a very short amount of time.

I invested $10,000 on the first transaction, which grew to $23,500 when I sold it 16 days later. I then invested the original $10,000 again and sold it for $24,500 53 days later. I bought again, using the original $10,000, and it is currently worth (4.12.99) $16,210. So far, I've earned a $28,000 net profit (currently $34,210 with the unrealized gain) on my original $10,000. The worse thing that can happen now is I lose my original $10,000. In the unlikely event that happens, I still have a total profit of $28,000.

In a total of 87 days, I've increased my earnings more than 240%. So, what I'm doing is taking the strong Internet companies and maximizing their long term potential with relatively low-risk LEAPs that pay well. That's what I call Low Risk Internet Investing.
