Chuck - Re: "If someone can put on the hat of an Intel manager and come up with the thought process on how to respond if AMD, within their capacity and customer restraints, ramps K7 from 500 MHz in June to 700 MHz in Q4 and K6-3 from 400-600 MHz from now to Q4"

Sounds like you have bought the AMD story from Scumbria & McMannis - HOOK LINE & Sinker.

Concerning your K7 fantasy: In legal terms, you are assuming "Facts not in evidence".

Re: "Regretfully, I haven't yet found a well reasoned perspective from the opposite angle on this thread yet. I see a lot of AND/Intel bashing but not much in the way of solid arguments."

You obviously wouldn't know a well reasoned argument if it hit you in the face.

Yousef, Elmer, Burt Masnick, Carl Mehr, Fred Fahmy and myself have time and again stated the precise reasons AMD would continue to fail - time after time - for over 3 years.

And guess what?

We have been CONSISTENTLY 100% correct.

You have just blown off our arguments because you think you are going to make money on AMD !

Re: "Unlike you I am sitting on a bunch of AMD stock (read unrealized long-term capital losses unless the stock gets back up)"

Hey - McMannis & SCUM bria want you to BUY MORE AMD - NOW !

In fact - SCUM bria may even sell you some of his !
