Exactly, Wayne! If MGR feels it necessary to consolidate when the POG is static and at the lowest level in years and when no news has come out of the Mongolian court (and may not for months), it shows that MGR is in desperate financial trouble - with a tulip resting on its chest. With zero uplifting news out, or expected, it was absolutely the worst time to put out a news release mentioning consolidation. Best for MGR to stay at the current meaningless 6c level than to move up to $1.20 where it can be beat back down. I dare Dave Webb to provide any kind of meaningful rational common-sensical explanation as to why he would mention consolidation in MGR's (and the POG's) current circumstances!!
