StockPro,

My opinion of MCF has not changed, ie. no significant competitive advantage over other companies. I still look at the stock from time to time to see if things have changed.

You point to the increase in the share price over the months. I would also point to those who compared MCF to Internet stocks. In that regard, many speculators have been and are very disappointed.

I remain firm in my conviction that large companies such as BCE Emergis will be the dominant players in e-commerce.

Some people point to a contract with Ford as if it meant MCF and Ford were on the same level and were joint venturing together! Same with Sony and MicroSoft! Such nonsense to keep doing name dropping. It is similar to "area plays" in junior mining.

The company does not give indications of the potential revenues that these small deals will provide. It is even more difficult to determine what profits will be generated and when.

While I wish MCF investors well, I don't see large numbers of investors tripping over each other to buy shares of MCF. There was a surge in e-commerce frenzy, which I think will die down once the market weeds out those that won't make it, and MCF did not benefit from it. There will come a time when we will see Internet Bre-Xs that will take down those companies that have a real business, such as MCF.

For juniors such as MCF, time is running out. They must either quickly attain a critical mass in the market place or else be both out or vegetate. Is MCG getting the necessary critical mass? Designing web pages and producing CDs is not rocket science. The real money is to be made in e-commerce fees. Due to the lack of financial information, it is difficult to say at this time what MCF's chances are to make it, and justify its current market cap.
