First, I don't claim that this will be the next CMGI.

However, did you happen to short CMGI when it was priced in the 30's last summer?

Anyway.....

I invested in this company before this was even an issue.
The company wasn't even listed as an Internet with brokerage
houses because of the reverse merger.

The announcement of the investment by Black's Apollo Management
is a little over a week old.

The company traded relatively low volume until this past week.
This board was very very quiet.

Is this Black's foray into Internets?
Is he using Rare Medium's market presence in major cities
and their knowledge of Internet technologies as a vehicle
to make money?
Does Black have a track record of making money?
Do people follow the investment decisions of people
who have successful track records?

Did the price get ahead of itself until developments occur?

Probably.

Are there many companies in need of venture capital?

Can Black and Rare Medium fill a need for smaller companies that is not being served?

Can Black's companies that he's invested in provide Rare medium
with work for Rare Medium's core business?

Will the larger brokerages take notice of RRRR because
of Black's investment?

Have brokerages had enough time to due diligence?
What happened to the price of IDTC since that stock was
downgraded by (three?) major brokerage firms?

Did you ask your broker about Leon Black?

What happens to your short position if a brokerage house does state a position?

Do major brokerages and people like Mary Meeker have a tenacity (by coincidence) to make favorable statements about companies that they happened to underwrite?

Do wild statements either for or against make any difference
to anything but retail investors who either buy frantically or
sell in a panic?

These message boards just get plain silly....especially with
all the pseudo-analysis by wannabe SEC attorneys..who know nothing about this company other than that it had a large price and volume spike, and thus is subject to profit taking and a correction.

Don't bother replying.

I'm just going to watch this from the sidelines and not participate in the hyperactive banter that people use to make their case either for or against...

bye...
