Absolutely not. In the U.S. last year nearly 10,000 people were killed by guns. In Canada less than 100. There are different guns control laws in Canada adn probably less crime. Is there no crime. Absolutely not. Guns and killing people with them are a lot different than crime.

There is crime and murder in Canada too. A little girl was beaten to death by 7 teenagers in Victoria B.C. a couple of years ago. The trial is on now. It is sick, they didn't shoot her but they beat her to death, essentially for no valid reason. Crime is a problem in Canada but guns are not as big a problem. Why? Canada has better gun control laws.

In the early 1990's there were numerous shootings and assaults with deadly weapons in the Vancouve school system. The crimes essentially invlolved new Canadians from across the Pacific. The school board and the police took a zero tolerance approach and worked with the schools. Today they have no violent crime in the schools. There is still crime, there always will be, but killing people with guns is sick. America needs to wake up to this.
