I saw a newspaper add (San Jose Mercury News 2/24) by Vista Laser Centers (Gary Kawesch, M.D.) which pushed the Visx laser. It said "There is one place to go, One surgeon to see, and One
laser to use." It goes on to say, "Vista Laser Center uses the FDA approved Visx Star Excimer Laser because -- quite frankly -- not all lasers are created equal."

Pretty good free press for Visx. I just wish all the eye docs felt the same.
