My answers to your questions (to differentiate them from *the* answers)......... (1) no, and (2) don't know if it would be used off-label, but the fear of a lawsuit would not cause such, as labeling would prevent any liability issue. You want explosive potential? Pray for the endothelin receptor antagonist.

But, to keep things simple, 3-5% of patients that need a heparin-like agent is still a nice chunk of change.
