I think that on the issue of purposely inflating earnings we disagree. There have been several suggestions to alter the accounting practices so as to include the cost of employee stock options as an expense (it currently is found only in the equity section of the balance sheet). Each time the proposals are put forth the technology sector gets upset. Why? It is only an accounting change. There is no change in cash flow; no change in federal taxes. I think that the reason is simply to hide the cost to shareholders. Why else would they object?

I think this is the key issue, and I'm not going to let you squirm out of this one!
