Jim, you may be right about the improvement you get thorough the use of static IP addresses; however, if you have experienced fewer disconnects recently, it may be coincidental.
Speaking of my own experience, Cyber has many fewer disconnect problems than a week ago. In the last 3 trading days, actually, Cyber has worked very well. My only minor problem has been the uptick/downtick arrow is always stuck in one direction - I haven't gotten around to calling tech support about this.
I must say, as my private deadline for Cyber improving is approaching (end of April), I am ever more satisfied with the service. I am ready to shift more money into my Cyber account, and away from Datek. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that Cyber keeps improving.
