LOL! I guess he's pretending that we don't all know, that's the first laugh. "China, Japan, Japan, or maybe Japan." Yeah, those little market-busters, that's it! The part about Japan *not* cutting production being the cause of the extra supply brings a smile to one's face, eh?

Secondly, how hard would it be to look up historical ASP's, get the sales figures from 10-Q's or the always almost-quotable "industry sources", and do the math to figure out who turned on the spigots. Thomas Busillo and the local accounting sharpies manage to do it on a regular basis.

I guess we're not supposed to be talking up the two years of interest payments due in two months or so. I wonder if that is "largely discounted" as well. :-)

He still has estimates of 62c for the year, way above consensus of 44c per the article, which is historically way above reality. Paging Bill Fleckenstein, here's a freshly-"dead fish" just starting to float to the top. :-)
