Without a partner w/ deep pockets comcast is unlikely to up the ante. As for timing, UMG has until 5.5.99 to indicate a response to comcast re its intent to accept other offers then comcast has til 5.26 to make a counter-offer. At least that's my general recall of the dates and actions that can take place. Do you think T hit its bottom on the news and it will trade back up shortly? A lot of weak hands move a large volume on Fri., is it really possible that many people don't get it? T is building a power house of communication and entertainment. Where do you see it in two years, given the time it'll take to digest a second cable co. and the cost and labor in building out broadband thru ATHM? Thanks lnk.
