OT Looking for some opinions, I'm getting ready to buy one of the new G3s and would like to know if I should include a DVD drive in it. What does the future hold for DVDs?

I usually buy a computer once every 5-6 years and would hate to have just a CDrom drive if CDs are to become obsolete within that time frame.
