Catcher, First thing to clear up is that Jean Gauthier is a guy! It is a French Canadian name (I think Jean = John) . I hold ATHM but I might unload going in to Monday morning simply because I believe the CEO or CFO is going to be on CNBC's power lunch on Monday. Talk about short term trading--hoping that will cause a spike in the price. If it drops Monday, then I will wait. How is that for investing? Pure speculation. I really don't know about the long term prospects for the company or the stock. I am not into net stocks but I think cable internet is a good bet. I have held Yahoo, ATHM, and CMGI. I only hold yahoo and ATHM but don't know when I will be out---maybe reduce my ATHM holdings on Monday.
