Gord:

I did a quick estimate of mineralization using the Cancor longitudinal section made available with the April 16th press release. Using half the distance between drill holes or a maximum distance of about 60 m from any given drill hole, and only 66% of the drill intercept to approximate the true width of the zone, I obtained a volume of ~290,000 cubic metres. Using a conservative density factor of 3 tonnes/cubic metre because a number of the intersections are in breccia type zones, it appears that the company has about 860,000 tonnes of mineralization. Adjusting this to account for the more massive mineralization it can conservatively be said that the Gemini property has a zone with ~1,000,000 of mineralization with an average grade of 0.7 % Cu, 3.8 % Zn, 1.3 g/t Au and 47.9 g/t Ag. This mineralization occurs over a strike length of 400 m and a vertical extent of ~350 m. If one speculates that further drilling will extend the zone to a 1 km strike length and double the present depth (to a maximum depth of 1000 m), then we are looking at a 5 million tonne deposit located 70 km from the Horne smelter. This tonnage will quickly increase if the company manages to locate more massive mineralization or thicker areas in the zone.
