My comment isn't whether ebay is overvalued, but that the hype has taken on a life of it's own. it's one thing that ebay is worth $24B and change, it's quite another to start believing that ebay is so incredible and invulnerable that it has the potential to match the world market impact of a GE. I suppose anything has potential, but why don't we give this market a couple of years before we declare ebay will inherit the earth. It shouldn't be long before there's a post about ebay solving world hunger .....
