I'm not sure that'll be much of an issue. When the carrnage does begin, if you don't have a short position established it'll be tough to get a uptick while the market's moving. The exciting part of the whole affair will be the false bounces. That's when we find out whose got the "brass ones". As following last Monday we will see efforts to stage a recovery (read new shorting opportunities)only to be followed by a sell off that penitrates previous levels of support, at which time the TA guys step to the plate and declare the bull internut dead and we see full blown sell off. On the way down certian support levels will be hit, creating a bounce of sorts. Those who don't know what they're doing will short on the low, cover when the stock rises, kick themselves for ever trying shorting at which time they'll go long just in time to get really wacked. The die hards that haven't lost everything will mistake the pause for a rally and expect that good times will roll again along with various curb minders who realy didn't get in the first time around and have been kicking themselves since they sold DELL at a presplit 2 1/2 but will think they're getting a great buy and load up on some garbage third tier nut stock only to latter find out that beaten down garbage stocks that are running out of money and will never show a profit will never rally. BB stocks have to come from somewhere.
gotta go, the wife want's to go see Private Ryan
Best Regards and thought about the impending doom!
