JLA, I'm not sure of the statistics, but it makes sense to me that guns contribute to some degree toward violence created by guns. Of course there are many instances when guns prevent crimes. Or at least protect those who would be victims of crimes from performing their acts of violence.

It's really a very complex issue with a lot of gray's and no black and white answers. Contrary to the far left wing anti-gun zealots belief's. They would like nothing better than to send the police door to door throughout america and confiscate all weapons. That would be far more hideous IMHO.

We have always had very liberal gun ownership laws.

Questions 7. Why have guns become such a problem with regard to violence in the last few decades? Sure we had our Al Capone's in the past, but that was about it.
