Developers Conference Postponed (Penton Media fails to execute)

It is with great regret that we announce the postponement of the Wind River Systems Developers Conference "IQ1999: Smart Solutions for Smarter Products," scheduled for May 10-13, 1999 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. New dates will be announced soon.

Last fall we contracted with Penton Media to produce the 1999 Wind River Systems Developers Conference. We believed at that time, and still do, that the way to build on the success of our inaugural conference last spring was to partner with a publishing company that could assume complete production of the event and bring increased exposure through existing relationships with key industry publications and forums. Unfortunately Penton was unable to execute the production of IQ 1999 to our satisfaction.

We know that time is valuable and appreciate the commitment of the attendees, exhibitors, and speakers. To that end we want them to have a forum representative of our industry. As this currently appears unlikely, we feel it necessary to postpone the conference until we can be assured of an event commensurate with Wind River's standards.

We apologize for any inconvenience that the postponement of this event has created.
