Got a little problem here.

My KOT install has disappeared and won't boot.

My KOT is a multiOS w98/nt config. I was booted to it under w98 and when opening Partition Magic everything froze. Restarts to that drive get up to Verifying DMI Pool Data and then the Disk Boot failure message.

Back to an NT drive> Partition Magic shows no partitions on the KOT disk..all free space and Disk Administrator doesn't even list it.

The KOT had all my Direct Image files as well as the Backup Exec program folder on it so I can't restore from either of those apps.

Theres a big lesson for me here about storage of backup materials which I must address. But right now I'd like to try to get KOT back online.

Is there any hope of getting it back or was it smoked when PM crashed?
I find it hard to believe one crashing program could do such damage in Win98, actually PM never finished opening when the crash occurred.

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated...

Clarence
