Gus, I hadn't heard an IBM hostile takeover attempt mentioned on the thread until you mentioned it just now, but I have have heard it mentioned in e-mails from several different sources. Some others say these rumors are simply attempts at stock manipulation. Here comes a serious question: Who knows? And tell us too. Why does no one here report on the stockholders' meeting?. Did no one on this thread own stock (on December 31) so as to get an invitation to it? (Maybe not. We have a lot of shorts, and some savvy long traders.) Did no one go? Chris, you were very kind in your response to the Thought Police. Let me know how the fix works. Regards, M.M.
