Why the rise in price on Friday? BusinessWeek article on RIM's pager and Blackberry service. The contents of BW usually come out late Thursday and this info does move stock prices (take the weekly Inside Wall Street column, for instance). This should continue to move this stock on Monday. Blackberry is a service that costs $400 for a RIM pager plus $40 per month that forwards filtered email from your account to your pager. I find this quite interesting as I have had this capability (no encryption) for two years already, using my own custom Perl script running on my mail server. Anyone wanna buy a used Perl script from a missed opportunist? :-)
