I agree with you on almost all points. However, you are assuming that the "professional" boys, the ones who say that WE do not know what we're doing, are rational. This market is neither rational nor efficient. Companies like KO and MSFT, with P/E's of 43 and 51, respectively???? How can any MM posibbly justify buying these two and selling COMS/USRX this past week?? What we're seeing now is the MM running for the exits and trampling COMS, USRX , CSCO etc. A kind or Reverse-Window-Dressing. Come the end of the quarter, the MM's will not want to be holding the networkers, even if it means selling low and buying higher. I went though the same thing last year with AMAT & LRCX. Bought more after the nosedive and have never regretted it. Anyway, my only point was that it will be awhile before these players, once again are lured in by greed. The fact that they will is not in question, only when.
Happy Investing.
