Pork,
It is hard to believe, but true, that there is always a Bull market somewhere with good opportunities. Sometime in a few Industries , at others in different Markets.

I track about 100 opportunities around the world. All trading in USofA exchanges, but basically "World Blue Chips".

The 100 are collected from wherever with whatever theme identifies them. The Theme was my point in the earlier comment.
BTW, that search is the fun part!

The 100 are analyzed each week by letting them compete with each other by various means. Experience has shown that a 9 month time frame of Returns gives good results. I weigh the 100 and rank them to identify the top 20%(Buy candidates) and the bottom 20%(Sell candidates)for further analysis.

Over the years we have grown our Networth each year by about 22%.
The last few years have been more like 35%--but, that is an accident waiting to happen. Sure in the '70s we slowed down but still averaged the minimum 22% goal.

Please, I am not trying to sell or show off; but, the investing world can be worked even by those not known for brilliance.
