Thanks for that message. Your perspective is becoming clearer to me gradually over time. I tend to agree with your position that the FCC would not allow the merger of RR and ATHM. I happen to think that they would be wrong, but I dont think they will allow it. However I dont see why they would have any serious problem with the merger of UMG into AT&T without RR (as long as RR stays a viable competitor). Excluding broadband internet its pretty darn hard to imagine a combination of TCI and UMG under AT&T as anything even remotely approaching a monopoly. Just more competition for the RBOC's in local phone service. Thats a good thing I dont see how they can pass up. Eric
