Hey people... I found a lot of truth in that post by Dave Gore...I have only been a member a week or so and have already experienced some ill will...and I am not talking about this thread necessarily... Some people like to think they are "bashing" the stock...which is not always a worthy gesture...but they also "bash" the people... Don' get me wrong...I can appreciate a good "slam" when people give it FIRST and maybe that is even wrong of me...but...when it is pervasive everywhere, all the time with shorters/daytraders/naysayers/saviors/holier-than-thouers/...it does wear you down. And I have been sending more PM's lately...and I find myself qualifying my posts...practically begging people to be nice when I ask a question... I think it is a little arrogant for members of SI to think they are above RB or Yahoo...maybe you modulate the message in adroitness, but it is not subtle...and it can still sting... Maybe the REAL RUB with all of this is the GROUP massacre that is occurring...If you had one or two people...giving their contrarian view on a given stock/management/fundamentals/whatevers...that might be easier for others to "deal with". But this CALVARY mentality and lets "GANG UP" on the "stupid" ones...and since it is the same HERD of people doing the "honest" thing for the ignorant stockholders...well people just aren't buying into it anymore...EVEN if you are right...steam rollers don't feel good after a while! There was even talk tonight on this thread of bringing in Graystone or whatever his name is...WHY? Aren't there enough people gathering "hard" evidence on these dirty rats running ABFG...Well I think the motive for bringing in the other cronies is to have more fun with the cock-a-roaches (not my term) and nothing more noble than that! I sold my ABFG because of this thread...and it may turn out to be the right choice...but I am a little leery to discuss any other holdings I have in case the Calvary wants to save me from that one too! Just my 2 cents AGAIN... Mary
