Henry, my most recent personal Naxos would be the Bresea [parent company of Bre-X] that still stares me in the face in one account ... I thought some portion at least of the gold was there at Busang, and failed to bail on the second day of May '97. I can make excuses, weave a story around how i was caught up in the novelty of a first computer, discovering short-term online discount trading after thirty-two years of the more expensive kind, finding quite intoxicating the fact that i could make a few percent daily just by catching a weak point in the afternoon and selling to the morning punters throughout that April ... then go on to explain that the majority of my loss on the fourth of May was the OPM gained that way, and therefore doesn't matter that much bla bla bla ... But really what happened - I forgot that in stocks they're all guilty till proven innocent ... and Bresea's place in the alphabetical order reminds me of it every time I log on to that account .... should have gone for the Naxos, it would be buried in the middle somewhere -g-
