If you research the strategies of smart technology companies who own patents, you will find they are used more to demonstrate leadership and as trading chips than they are as a source of revenue. I don't know this for certain, but I'm willing to bet there is, or will be, other very similar patents issued on such auctioning processes. I hope that BII's patent is very very broad, otherwise it won't be difficult to work around it, or worse, have other companies get their own patents. I guess if BII can successfully license their patent for real dollars that will be the indicator. Until then it is a great IR tool. Sean
