Litigation is very expensive, but patent infringement is even more expensive. Not to mention all the bad press a big Internet company would get if BIDS filed a patent infringement lawsuit against them.

I would place my bet on BIDS, not the patent infringement violaters.

I wonder how many really pissed off executives there are at the major Internet companies that were too busy pumping their stock price to think of filing for patents?

Darn, a little Canadian company managed to get patents even in the US. Hahaha!!
