The market is asleep on COMS. Compare 3Com to its peers and you will see that the market is valuing the company as though it were a big money loser with no potential. Comparing COMS to ASND, CSCO, NN and XYLN on a Price to Sales and Cash per Share basis and you quickly realize this company is very cheap relative to the group. COMPANY... P/S... Cash/Share ASND..........13.67....$3.08 CSCO..........19.34....$1.45 COMS...........1.66....$4.70 NN.................5.62....$3.50 XYLN............5.04....$1.41 Takeover or no takeover, this stock is a cheap. The company remains profitable, has lots of cash, and any improvement in its fortunes and the stock could easily be back above $50.
