I didn't realize how expensive a Globalstar call could be once the applicable local carrier charges are factored in.

...and you probably didn't realize that a charge from a local telco is added to an Iridium call as well even if it goes straight up to the sat. She left that part out. Interesting about your Airtouch info. Airtouch management does not use those numbers as the price of a call.
