DQ and his wife/policy advisor were on a CNN program and he called for a return to "values"...and school uniforms were mentioned...That sounds oppressive to me...and not like encouraging personal development...but I think the main issue was with the entertainment media available to the public...and suggesting that public outcries can influence the entertainment media... And actually I think that it is good to have entertainment that provides...releases...Even the...Vault Disney programs on Cable TV show bumps and bruises and other things...Yes...NBK...was way too extreme and too realistic of a frame-of-mind that it is possible to be powerful for a short period of time...but current TV programs about people living in group homes seems to be very lame...and strange emphasis... So the pressures across a broad society become a national political issue...If every segment of society feels as if they receive their share of consideration then the problems will be less...
