Boy, you are new to this thread. If you'd go back and read some of the earlier posts, you'd find out that Dr. Damadian has so many poison pills embedded in his company's capital structure as to make it impossible for anyone to take over the company without his consent, no matter how many public shares they bought. For example, all of the relevant patents are in Dr. Damadian's name and if he was involuntarily forced out, the patents would go with him. He also owns a special class of common stock with ten times the voting power of the regular common that effectively gives him absolute control. Fonar is now in a position to force GE out of the MRI business and I, for one, would love to see it happen.
