Chris, my wife said to tell you to use Dr. Tichenor's antiseptic. Keep the area moist with it, and it will really work well to relieve the pain and all else associated with sunburn. You can buy it at drug stores and supermarkets (here in the south). My family has used it for years for everything, but it burns like h*ll on an open wound. It also is the best mouthwash in existence - but don't use it straight for that - mix it 1/5 with water. I gargled with it straight one time when I was in a hurry for an appointment....voice went from baritone to Irish tenor for about three hours. Also, don't get it in your eyes, or you'll wish they were only sunburned....ggg
Hope all goes well for you.
