Sean,
Bid.com has recently started selling higher margin items. They are progressively reaching a point where there margin rates will be higher altogether. Plus, they are licensing their computerized declining auction patent to many companies who have a need to sell items over the internet this way. They have begun to get into the B2B, as this seems to be the larger source of revenue in the future. Also, they are expanding into Europe and other overseas areas, setting up offices to license and help maintain use of their technology, so they have several revenue streams. I think they have done much to improve their business model and will be a major competitor to Ubid and Onsale.
