Finder, I must disagree. Gretchen Morgenson is one of the finest financial journalists around. When she talks I listen. Maybe you should focus instead on the issue implit in the piece: companies are struggling to make money in this market. Dell and Gateway are clear exceptions. This is why Gerstner has tried to cozy up to Dell. Also, Morgenson was not responsible for the piece last week. The piece simply reported on what an analyst had come up with. It really does no good to bury your head in the sand. That's what the folks on the CPQ thread did when confronted with bad news, and that kind of denial can cost an investor a lot of money. I do not view Morgenson's piece as negative. It is just one more confirmation of Dell's supremacy in the PC business. TTFN, CTC
