But my
intutive fear is that only two things will keep the stock moving higher after next week and kill "sell-on-news" theory:
1) Very significant aliance or buyout
2) Split news.


Call me an unemotional investor but I rarely look towards fundamentals to find out where a stock is going tomorrow or the next day. This is a very hard disassociation to make but I like math and logic combined. I know you do also.

On the fundamental side I see the "pooling of interest" deadline as a big plus factor for AOL as this will cause them to make the biggest possible buyout deals they can possibly make between now and then. Don't think for a second that CBS, as an example, does not feel this pressure also.
