To make money in any business, you have to make it where you can. If there is money to be made in EDO, MU is making the right decision by continuing to make it. I know that you personally would rather that they only lost money, but as a company they do a very good job of making strategic decisions about making additional shrinks on old product lines, and on deciding which products to continue to make, and which ones not to. In my opinion, this is one of their great strengths, and is one reason that over the years they have usually made money making DRAM while others such as TI have lost money making DRAM, and it is one of the reasons that they will be around to make money in the future.
