Smart moves all around, good for MSFT, and so good for us, MSFT investors.

Heh. That's an artful interpertation of the events, Shea. I think you may have a future in the Microsoft PR department. Turning this series of events into something postitive for Microsoft is as difficult a job as turning their daily trial performances into good news for Redmond.

What's unfortunate about it all is that the Consumer division is mentioned so prominently in all of this. That poor group, with its executive-of-the-quarter history doesn't really deserve it. They keep getting buffeted about. Their future is rewritten more often than a prediction chapter in a Bill Gates book.
